Considering a new dress from PRODIGY DOWNUNDER? We know first hand how important the solo dress experience is, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

Contact us to check current availability. A deposit locks in your bookings & secures your delivery spot in our schedule
Ideas & Measurements
We’ll send a detailed measurement guide and preference form so you can share your ideas and inspiration
DESIGNing your dress
Based on your ideas and preferences, we’ll create a custom concept for your dress with design sketches for approval.
creating your dream
Once approved, our team brings your design to life with precision and care. Your finished dress can be collected in person or shipped.
Each costume comes with a pair of kickpants and a soft cotton protective cover. Headpieces are available as an optional extra. As each costume is made with different fabrics, designs, and varying amounts of crystals, pricing can vary between dresses.

About Us
Founded in 2016, Prodigy Downunder has grown to become a trusted name in Irish dance costumes – proudly designing and creating dresses for dancers across Australia and around the world. Our costumes are worn by dancers of all levels, right up to the Worlds’ Stage.
In late 2025, Prodigy entered a new chapter under the new ownership of Jess, who brings two decades of experience, having first begun creating Irish dance costumes in 2003.
Our dedicated team, including designers Kerrie and Anna, continues to uphold the craftsmanship, quality, and creativity that dancers have come to know and love from Prodigy.
Using the same trusted methods, machinery, and meticulous attention to detail, we work closely with every dancer to bring their dream costumes to life.
We’re proud to continue the Prodigy Downunder legacy, and we look forward to creating something truly special for YOU.
